When filling orders means positioning every jar by hand, the repetitive handling can become as demanding as the filling itself. This station combines the DANA api MATIC 1000 with a 70 cm automatic turntable. Load empty jars onto the table: each jar travels to the filling position, activates the switch and receives the calibrated dose before the table moves it onwards.

The larger table gives you more room to organise jars through the run, with a stated capacity of approximately twenty-two 450 g jars. An adjustable guide and machine holder help accommodate different container sizes. You remain with the station to load empty jars, collect filled ones and check the batch while the machine handles positioning and dosing at the outlet.

Overview

The DANA api MATIC 1000 controls the dose through a computer-controlled gear pump. The turntable and jar-activated wire switch coordinate jar movement with filling, creating a repeatable sequence without you having to position every jar directly beneath the outlet.

Let the station handle the filling position

The guide rail directs jars towards the wire switch. When a jar reaches the switch, the table stops and the filler dispenses the set dose. Once filling finishes, the table turns again until the next jar reaches the switch. Your main handling tasks are replenishing empty jars and collecting filled ones.

Keep settings ready for regular orders

The machine stores 20 filling programmes with dose, calibration and other filling settings. For example, save one programme for a 250 g retail jar and another for a 500 g jar. When a repeat order arrives, recall the relevant programme and check a test fill instead of entering every setting again. Recalibrate when the product or filling conditions change.

Adjust the flow and cut-off

Pump speed and anti-drip settings can be adjusted to suit the product and dose. After filling, the pump briefly reverses to help control drips at the outlet. The product-contact parts are food-grade plastic or stainless steel and can be disassembled for cleaning.

How a filling run works

  1. Assemble the station using the supplied instructions, then connect a suitable product feed and prepare the pump.
  2. Adjust the guide rail and the filler’s horizontal and vertical position for your jars.
  3. Select a programme, set the target dose and calibrate using a test fill and a suitable scale.
  4. Load empty jars onto the table and start the station according to its instructions.
  5. Each jar activates the wire switch. The table stops for filling, then turns again after the dose is complete.
  6. Collect filled jars and replenish the empty ones, making fill checks during the run as appropriate.

Lid fitting, labelling and packing remain separate operations. Plan those stages alongside filling so the finished jars can move through the rest of your batch smoothly.

Choose Setup

The 70 cm station gives you a larger jar-handling area than the 45 cm tabletop model, while using the same DANA api MATIC 1000 dosing machine. Choose between them around your available space, jar sizes and how you want to organise loading and collection.

Comparison 45 cm tabletop station 70 cm station
Turntable diameter 450 mm 700 mm
Stated table capacity Approximately ten 450 g jars. Approximately twenty-two 450 g jars.
Jar diameter 30–120 mm 30–120 mm
Jar height 30–250 mm 30–290 mm
Working arrangement A compact tabletop setup on a suitable work surface. A freestanding station with more table space for jars.

The jar capacities refer to space on the table, rather than jars filled at once. Container dimensions affect how many can be positioned on either station.

On the 70 cm model, the guide rail adjusts for different jar sizes and the filler moves horizontally and vertically to position the outlet. Check the full container dimensions, opening size and chosen outlet, especially for unusual shapes or jars close to a stated limit.

The standard kit includes a feed hose and fittings for connection to a suitable product vessel. A hopper and alternative outlet nozzles can be specified separately where they suit the application.

Ask us to check your setup. Send us your product details, filling temperature, jar dimensions, target dose, batch size and proposed product feed.

FAQs

Does the table move and start each fill automatically? Yes. The table carries jars along the guide rail to the wire switch. When a jar activates the switch, the table stops and filling begins. After the dose is complete, the table turns again to present the next jar. You load empty jars, collect filled ones and supervise the run.

Why choose this over the 45 cm tabletop station? The main difference is the larger working area and jar capacity. This station holds approximately twenty-two 450 g jars, compared with ten on the 45 cm model, and accommodates jars up to 290 mm high. Both use the DANA api MATIC 1000 pump; the larger table helps organise jar handling rather than increasing the pump’s capacity.

Does it weigh every jar? No. You use a scale to calibrate test fills, then the machine dispenses the programmed dose. Check fills during production as appropriate, particularly when starting a new batch or changing the product, temperature or pack size.

How many jars per hour can I expect? Output depends on the dose, product flow, feed arrangement, outlet and loading and collection routine. The 270 kg/h figure describes pump capacity. Tell us your pack sizes and required output so we can assess the complete filling workflow.

Can I change between different jar sizes? Yes, within the suitable container range. Adjust the guide rail and filler position for the new jar, then select the relevant programme and check a test fill. Unusual shapes, narrow openings or containers close to the stated limits should be checked before ordering.

Do I need a hopper? A hopper is optional. A suitable tank or vessel can feed the pump through a hose connection. Send us the vessel outlet size, its position relative to the pump and your proposed hose arrangement so we can check the fittings and feed setup required.

Can it fill something other than honey? The DANA 1000 can be configured for suitable viscous products besides honey. Tell us how your product flows, its ingredients and any particles, filling temperature, target dose and container dimensions. We can check the pump, feed, outlet and jar-handling arrangement with Swienty before you order; a sample test may be needed.

Does it arrive ready assembled? Assembly is required and instructions are included. Swienty estimates approximately 30 minutes for assembly. Allow additional time to prepare the product feed, adjust the station for your jars and calibrate the first fills.

How do I clean it between batches? The product-contact parts can be disassembled for cleaning. Follow the supplied instructions for emptying the system, disconnecting the power, cleaning and reassembly. Include any allergen changeover requirements or particular cleaning temperatures when you enquire.
