Delivery Information

Delivery arrangements depend on the equipment, its availability and your postcode. We confirm the applicable charges and service before accepting your order.

Where we deliver

We arrange delivery to business addresses on the UK mainland. Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and other remote or offshore locations are subject to product, carrier and postcode checks and may require an individual quotation.

For a postcode not covered at checkout, email contact@batchpointequipment.com to check availability and cost before ordering. We do not deliver outside the UK, including to the Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

Delivery charges

Charges are shown at checkout or in your written quotation. Larger equipment, pallet deliveries, difficult access and outlying postcodes may cost more. Delivery is included only where the product page or quotation expressly says so.

If the delivery details supplied do not allow an accurate charge to be calculated, we will contact you before accepting the order. You can choose whether to proceed at the confirmed total or withdraw the order for a refund of any payment taken. We will not add an unagreed surcharge to an accepted order.

Availability and lead times

Some products are available from stock; others are ordered, configured or built for the application. We check availability and dispatch estimates as part of order acceptance.

A dispatch estimate describes when goods should leave the dispatch location; carrier transit time is additional. Lead times are estimates unless we agree a guaranteed date in writing.

Tell us before ordering if you have a production deadline. If a material delay arises after acceptance, we will explain the revised estimate and options. Where an agreed essential deadline cannot be met, or a delay becomes unreasonable, we will discuss cancellation and any refund due under the contract and applicable law.

What happens after you order

An automated order-received email acknowledges your request and any payment activity. Order acceptance and dispatch are separate, as explained in our Terms of Service.

We will send dispatch or delivery information as it becomes available. Tracking is provided where the carrier offers it. Equipment may be sent directly from a manufacturer or distribution partner, and a mixed order may arrive in separate deliveries. BatchPoint remains your seller and point of contact about the order.

Parcel and pallet deliveries

Smaller equipment may arrive by parcel courier. Larger machinery normally travels on a pallet or requires an agreed transport service.

Unless your quotation states otherwise, pallet delivery is to a safe, accessible kerbside or other agreed ground-level unloading point. It does not include moving equipment into your building, unpacking, installation, commissioning or removing packaging.

Before arranging delivery, we may need to check:

•      Vehicle access, road width and any height, weight, parking or time restrictions.

•      Whether the unloading area is level, firm and suitable for the delivery vehicle and handling equipment.

•      The machine or pallet dimensions and weight, and the space available to receive it.

•      Whether a tail-lift, forklift or other unloading equipment is needed and who will provide it.

•      A delivery contact who can receive the goods and confirm any booking arrangements.

Please do not assume the vehicle carries a forklift or that a tail-lift can handle every machine. The appropriate unloading arrangements must be confirmed for the order. Tell us in advance if delivery is to a home-based business or another address with restricted access.

Failed delivery, storage and changes

Check your delivery address and contact details carefully. If a booked delivery fails because the site is inaccessible, the agreed unloading arrangements are unavailable or no authorised person can receive the goods, reasonable redelivery or storage charges may apply. We will explain the costs and agree the next step before arranging another attempt.

We do not charge you for redelivery caused by an error for which we or our appointed carrier are responsible. Changes you request after acceptance may affect the cost or timing; any revised arrangements need written agreement.

Checking your delivery

Inspect the packaging and accessible goods when they arrive. Record visible damage on the delivery paperwork where possible and take photographs. If a load appears unsafe or severely damaged, ask the driver to record the issue and contact us before accepting it where practicable.

Please report transit damage, incorrect items or shortages promptly, ideally within two working days. Keep the packaging while we assess the issue. Signing for delivery does not by itself confirm that hidden defects are absent. See Returns & Cancellations for the claims process and your rights.

Setup and installation

The equipment's electrical supply, compressed-air needs and other site requirements are specified for each model. Please check those details before ordering. Delivery does not include electrical work, plumbing, machine installation or operator training unless these are expressly listed in your quotation.
