When orders grow, screwing every lid on by hand becomes another repetitive job between filling and packing. The Swienty Manual Motorised Lid Fitter takes over the turning action: place a lid on the filled jar, position it in the machine and lower the handle to tighten it.

Height adjustment lets you set up for different jars, while adjustable torque lets you control the turning force applied to the lid. You handle each jar and place each lid; the motor does the screwing. It is a practical next step for producers who want help with repeated lid fitting at the workbench.

Overview

Less repeated twisting by hand

The handle starts the motorised tightening action once the jar and lid are in position. This gives lid fitting its own repeatable step after filling, with the operator placing and removing each jar.

Adjust the closing force to your packaging

Torque is the turning force used to tighten the lid. The adjustable range of 0.1–10 Nm lets the setup be matched to a suitable jar and lid combination. Establish the correct setting for your packaging and check sample closures before working through a batch.

How a lid-fitting cycle works

Set the working height and torque for the jar and lid you are using.
Place a compatible screw-on or twist-off lid loosely on the filled jar.
Position the jar in the lid fitter and lower the handle. The motor turns to screw the lid into place.
Remove the closed jar, check the closure and present the next one.

Choose Setup

Change between regular jar formats

The machine can be adjusted in height for jars up to 300 mm tall. For example, when moving from a short honey jar to a taller jar, adjust the working height and check the lid fit and torque before starting the next run.

FAQs

Why is it called manual if it has a motor? Manual refers to the way you handle the jars and activate the machine. You place the lid, position the jar and lower the handle; the electric motor provides the turning action.

Which lids can it fit? It is designed for compatible screw-on and twist-off lids. Share the lid type, diameter, jar height and photographs of the packaging so we can check suitability. The dimensions alone do not confirm that every jar and lid combination will work.

Can I use an 82 mm lid? This size needs confirmation before ordering. The supplied technical sheet specifies a maximum diameter of 80 mm, while Swienty's public listing states 82 mm. Send us your exact lid and jar specification so we can check the current machine with Swienty.

What torque setting should I use? Swienty's technical sheet recommends 2–3 Nm for screw-on and twist-off lids. Check the required closing torque for your particular packaging and test the closure before starting the batch.

Does it place lids on the jars automatically? You place each lid on the jar yourself. The machine then screws it into place when you lower the handle.

How many jars per hour can I close? Output depends on the jars, lids and how quickly the operator places and removes them. The 119 rpm figure is the motor's rotational speed, not a finished-jars-per-hour rate.
