Hand-applying labels to every bottle or jar takes time, and keeping each one straight is difficult across a full batch. The AP360e uses a roll of pre-printed labels and turns the container as it applies one label when you press the footswitch.

It is the straightforward AP-Series choice for a single front label or a wraparound label on compatible cylindrical containers. You place and remove each container yourself; the machine applies the label. If you need separate front and back labels in one cycle, consider the AP380e.

Overview

The AP360e is a benchtop, semi-automatic applicator for bottles, jars, cans and other compatible round containers. Adjustable guides and a pressure arm help position the container and press the label down consistently. It applies a pre-printed pressure-sensitive label; it does not print or design labels.

How a labelling cycle works

  1. Load a compatible outward-wound, die-cut label roll and set the label guides.
  2. Position the container between the rollers and adjust the pressure arm.
  3. Press the footswitch to apply one label as the container rotates.
  4. Remove the labelled container and present the next one.

DTM quotes up to 1,200 containers per hour; actual output depends on container handling, label size and changeovers. The AP360e has no built-in waste-liner rewinder.

Choose Setup

Choose the AP360e if you apply one label per container and want a compact upgrade from labelling by hand. Choose the AP380e if you need a front and back label in one cycle, a built-in liner rewinder, a hand start button or a job counter.

Check your bottle and labels before ordering

Measure your container diameter and the area that will carry the label. Check the label’s width, length, roll core and winding direction. Cylindrical containers are the natural fit; many tapered containers can work, but a pronounced taper or an unusual shape may need a sample test. Send us a photograph and dimensions of the container and label if you are unsure.

Compatible rolls can be printed by DTM or another label supplier. The applicator requires roll-fed, die-cut, pressure-sensitive labels, not loose sheets.

FAQs

Does the AP360e print labels? No. It applies labels supplied on a compatible pre-printed roll. Printing labels in-house would require a separate printer and suitable media.

Can it apply separate front and back labels in one cycle? No. It dispenses one label per activation. The AP380e is the model to consider for a front and back pair.

Can I use a tapered bottle? Many tapered containers are supported, but the shape and label material affect how flat the label sits. Send us a container photo and dimensions so we can check suitability with DTM.

What happens to the backing paper? The AP360e does not have a built-in liner rewinder. Leave space for the spent liner to feed away safely during the run.

Will clear or flexible labels work?DTM lists clear labels as usable. Very flexible films or slippery/thin liners can still affect feeding and finish, so ask us to check your actual stock if it is unusual.

See it in action!

This video demonstrates both the AP360e and AP362e. Setup and operation are similar, but the AP360e applies one label per container, while the AP362e can apply separate front and back labels. This product page is for the AP360e.
