When orders grow, filling jars and pots by hand can become the job that holds up the rest of production. With the DANA api MATIC 2000+, you set and calibrate the dose, position each container and start the fill with the foot pedal. The gear pump dispenses the set amount and controls the cut-off, helping you keep a steady rhythm through the batch.

The 2000+ offers greater pump capacity than the DANA api MATIC 1000, with options to adapt the setup as your production develops. This listing covers the standard machine on short legs. A hopper, floor stand and hot-fill equipment can be specified separately.

Overview

The DANA api MATIC 2000+ is a computer-controlled gear-pump filler for suitable viscous products. You handle the containers while the machine controls the dose, making it a practical step towards more organised batch production.

Keep settings for your repeat orders

Its 20 filling programmes store the dose, calibration and other filling settings for different jobs. For example, you could save one programme for your regular retail jar and another for a larger catering pack. When the next order arrives, recall the relevant programme and check a test fill, rather than entering every setting again. Recalibrate when the product or filling conditions change.

Adjust the fill to your product

Pump speed and anti-drip settings can be adjusted to suit the fill. The anti-drip function briefly reverses the pump after dosing to help control drips as you change containers. The parts that contact the product are food-grade plastic or stainless steel and can be taken apart for cleaning.

A filling setup for different producers

Swienty documents 2000+ applications including yoghurt and nut spreads. In its Call Me Nuts peanut-butter example, the machine is combined with a hopper and a custom nozzle. The recipe, container and feed arrangement determine which components your setup needs.

How a filling cycle works

  1. Connect a suitable product feed from your vessel or an optional hopper, and prepare the pump according to the supplied instructions.
  2. Select a programme, set the target dose and calibrate using a test fill and a suitable scale.
  3. Place the container beneath the outlet and start the fill with the supplied foot pedal.
  4. The pump dispenses the dose and controls the cut-off. Remove the filled container and present the next one, making checks throughout the run as appropriate.
Choose Setup

The standard machine sits on short legs above containers up to 115 mm high. An optional floor stand changes the working height, while a hot-fill configuration changes which temperatures the equipment can handle. These additions are purchased separately.

Setup When it is useful What is included here?
Standard machine on short legs A suitable workbench, containers up to 115 mm high and products filled at temperatures up to 40°C. The machine, legs, foot pedal and standard connection and spare-parts kit.
Electric floor stand Changing the outlet height for different containers or working positions. The stand has lockable wheels and can store three height positions. Not included. Specify the stand separately.
Hopper feed Supplying product directly above the pump when a hose connection to a vessel is less convenient. Not included. A suitable hopper and lid are separate accessories.
Hot-fill configuration Approved applications above the standard 40°C limit. Swienty specifies up to 95°C with suitable hot-fill equipment. Not included. The complete configuration must be checked and quoted for your process.

The hot-fill option requires suitable gears and a compatible product feed, hose and other components for the intended temperature. It does not heat the product.

For automatic container movement, ask us about a separate Swienty turntable station. The standard machine on this page requires you to place and remove each container.

Ask us to check your setup. Send us the product, filling temperature, target dose, container dimensions and how you plan to feed the pump.

FAQs

Can it fill sauces, spreads or cosmetic products? The DANA range is used for suitable viscous food and cosmetic products. Compatibility depends on how your recipe flows at the filling temperature, its ingredients, particles and the outlet required. Send us those details so we can check the application with Swienty; a sample test may be needed.

When should I choose the 2000+ over the 1000? The 2000+ offers greater pump capacity and a route to approved hot filling. It is worth considering when your required output or filling temperature calls for those capabilities. We can compare both machines against your product, pack sizes and batch requirements.

Does it weigh each container? No. You use a scale to calibrate test fills, then the machine dispenses the set dose. Continue to check fills during production as appropriate; saved programmes do not replace checks when the product or filling conditions change.

How many containers per hour can I expect? The result depends on the dose, product flow, outlet, feed arrangement and how quickly containers are changed. The 400 L/h figure describes pump capacity. Tell us your pack sizes and required output so we can assess the complete filling workflow.

Can the standard machine fill hot products? The standard configuration has a maximum product temperature of 40°C. Swienty offers hot-fill equipment for approved applications up to 95°C, but the full setup must suit your process. Tell us both the filling and cleaning temperatures before ordering.

Do I need a hopper, or can I connect it to my tank? A hopper is optional. A suitable vessel can feed the pump through a hose connection. Tank fittings, hose length, vessel height and product consistency affect the setup, so send us details of your existing equipment.

Does it need compressed air? The standard 2000+ filler is electrically driven and does not require a compressed-air supply. Any additional equipment will have its own requirements, which we will confirm when specifying the setup.

How do I clean it between products? The product-contact parts can be disassembled for cleaning. Follow the supplied instructions for emptying, disconnecting, cleaning and reassembly. If you need allergen changeovers or a particular cleaning process, include those requirements when you enquire.
