The Audion D 545 AV seals bags while they remain upright on its conveyor. This suits liquids, powders, granules and other loose contents that could spill if the open bag were laid flat. The sealing head adjusts in height to match the bag.

Digital controls set the temperature, conveyor speed and cooling. Save up to nine sets of settings for regular bag types, making them easier to set up again.

Overview

Keep filled bags upright as you seal

The D 545 AV is a compact tabletop band sealer for ready-made bags. Feed the open top into the sealing head and the conveyor carries the bag through a continuous 10 mm seal. It is useful when sealing one bag at a time by hand has become a bottleneck, while still leaving an operator in control of presenting each filled bag.

  • For bags that need to stand: powders, granules, liquids and loose products can stay upright on the conveyor while the top is sealed.
  • Repeatable changeovers: set temperature, belt speed and cooling on the digital panel, then save up to nine programmes for regular bag materials or sizes.
  • Match the film: PTFE belts allow suitable PE, PP, cellophane, paper and aluminium laminates to be sealed; the result still depends on the bag structure and chosen settings.
  • Less waiting between bags: the conveyor runs at up to 10 m/min, subject to film and application. Automatic cool-down helps protect the sealing belts after use.

Before ordering: check the filled bag's weight, dimensions, material and the space needed above the seal. A clean, flat seal area matters as much as the machine settings.

Build Your Setup

Choose the upright arrangement

The AH and AV use the same continuous-sealing principle. Choose the direction your filled bags can safely travel; the two models are separate machines.

  • Choose AV for upright bags: ideal when the contents would spill or shift if laid flat. The sealing head adjusts electrically in height; allow for the 430 mm maximum bag length and no more than 45 mm of bag above the seal.
  • Need the other orientation? See the D 545 AH horizontal model.
  • Plan for maintenance: the D 545 spare-parts set fits both models. Replacement PTFE belts, heating elements and V-belts are listed separately; match parts to your machine before ordering.

Neither model fills bags or prints a code. If you pack different products, send us the bag specification and a filled sample so we can check the best orientation and seal settings.

Will it make bags from a roll?
No. The D 545 is for sealing the open mouths of ready-made bags as they move through the machine.

Can it seal my material?
Audion lists PE, PP, cellophane and paper or aluminium laminates. Send us the film structure and thickness if you are unsure; a sample trial is best for an important seal.

How much can it carry?
Audion rates the conveyor for filled bags up to 5 kg. The maximum running speed is 10 m/min, but workable output also depends on the bag and how quickly the operator presents it.

Will a tall pouch fit?
The AV has a maximum bag length of 430 mm and allows up to 45 mm above the seal. Check both on the filled pouch.

Are spare parts available?
Yes. We list the shared D 545 service kit and individual belts and heating components. Give us your model and serial number if a part needs checking.
