When honey orders grow, filling and moving every jar by hand can become the job that slows the rest of production. This tabletop station combines the DANA api MATIC 1000 with a 45 cm turntable, bringing measured filling and jar movement together in a compact setup. Load empty jars and collect filled ones while the pump dispenses the calibrated dose.

The height-adjustable holder lets you position the outlet above your jars, while saved filling programmes make regular pack sizes easier to return to. It is a practical step up when you want less jar handling at the outlet and a more organised bottling run. You stay with the station to replenish empty jars, collect finished fills and check the batch as it runs.

Overview

The station uses the same computer-controlled gear pump as the standalone DANA api MATIC 1000. The turntable changes how jars move through the filling position, helping you organise a sequence of fills while keeping loading and collection within a compact working area.

Keep settings ready for repeat orders

The machine stores 20 filling programmes with dose, calibration and other filling settings. For example, you could save one programme for a 250 g retail jar and another for a 500 g jar. When the next order arrives, recall the relevant programme and check a test fill, rather than entering every setting again. Recalibrate when the honey or filling conditions change.

Control the flow and finish of each fill

Pump speed and anti-drip settings can be adjusted to suit the product and dose. At the end of a fill, the pump briefly reverses to help control drips at the outlet. This helps keep the filling process tidy as jars move through the station.

How a filling run works

  1. Connect a suitable product feed from your vessel or an optional hopper, then prepare and prime the pump according to the supplied instructions.
  2. Adjust the machine holder for your jar height and check the outlet position.
  3. Select a programme, set the target dose and calibrate using a test fill and a suitable scale.
  4. Load empty jars onto the turntable and start the station according to its instructions. The table presents jars for filling while the pump controls the dose.
  5. Collect filled jars and replenish the empty ones, making fill checks during the run as appropriate.

The parts that contact the product are food-grade plastic or stainless steel and can be disassembled for cleaning. Lid fitting, labelling and packing remain separate operations.

Choose Setup

This configuration combines the DANA api MATIC 1000, a 45 cm turntable and a height-adjustable machine holder. The main choices are your jar format, product feed and any additional outlet equipment your application needs.

Setup When it is useful Included here?
45 cm tabletop station Moving a sequence of jars through the filling position while you load empty jars and collect filled ones. Yes. Includes the DANA api MATIC 1000, turntable, base and adjustable machine holder.
Adjustable filling height Positioning the outlet above jars within the stated 30–250 mm height range. Yes. The machine holder adjusts to the jar height.
Hose feed from a vessel Supplying the pump from a suitable tank or other product vessel. The standard 38 mm hose and connection parts are included. Connections to your vessel must be checked.
10 L hopper feed Holding product directly above the pump when this suits your batch size and working arrangement. No. The hopper and matching lid are separate accessories.
Alternative outlet nozzle Matching the outlet to a particular container opening or product. No. Alternative nozzles are specified separately when needed.

The stated jar range is 30–120 mm in diameter and 30–250 mm in height. Container shape, opening size and the chosen outlet also affect suitability, so send us the full dimensions if your jars are close to a limit or have an unusual shape.

The 45 cm measurement is the turntable diameter. Allow additional bench space for the machine, product feed, empty jars and collection of filled jars.

Ask us to check your setup. Send us your jar dimensions, target fill, product details and how you plan to feed the pump.

FAQs

How is this different from the DANA 1000 on legs or a stand? The dosing machine is the same. With the standalone filler, you position and remove each jar at the outlet. This station adds a turntable to move jars through the filling position, so your main handling tasks are loading empty jars and collecting filled ones.

Does the machine weigh every jar? No. You use a scale to calibrate test fills, then the machine dispenses the programmed dose. Continue to check fills during production as appropriate. A saved programme does not replace checking a new batch or changed filling conditions.

How many jars per hour can I expect? Output depends on the dose, honey consistency, product feed, outlet and how the station is operated. The 270 kg/h figure describes pump capacity, rather than finished jars per hour. Tell us your pack sizes and required output so we can assess the complete filling workflow.

How many jars fit on the turntable? The stated capacity is approximately ten 450 g jars. Larger or differently shaped jars change how many can be positioned on the table. This is the table’s holding capacity, rather than the number filled at once.

Can I switch between different jar sizes? Yes, within the station’s suitable container range. Adjust the machine holder for the new jar height, check the outlet position and select the relevant filling programme. Check a test fill and recalibrate where needed before starting the next run.

Do I need a hopper, or can I use my existing honey tank? A hopper is optional. A suitable tank or vessel can supply the pump through a hose connection. Send us the tank outlet size, its position relative to the pump and the proposed hose arrangement so we can check the connection parts required.

Can it fill something other than honey? The DANA 1000 can be configured for suitable viscous products besides honey. Tell us how your product flows, its ingredients and any particles, the filling temperature, target dose and container dimensions. We can check the pump, feed and outlet arrangement with Swienty before you order; a sample test may be needed.

How do I clean it between batches? The product-contact parts can be disassembled for cleaning. Follow the supplied instructions for emptying the system, disconnecting the power, cleaning and reassembly. If your process involves allergen changeovers or particular cleaning temperatures, include those requirements when you enquire.
