When a bottle needs a front label and a separate back label, placing both by hand takes care on every item. The AP380e applies one or two labels to a compatible round container in a single cycle, with adjustable spacing between a front and back pair.

It also adds a built-in waste-liner rewinder, a push button alongside the footswitch, and a display with a counter and saved settings. It is the AP-Series step-up for repeat batches where tidy handling and consistent label placement matter.

Overview

The AP380e is a semi-automatic roll-label applicator for cylindrical bottles, jars, cans and many tapered containers. You load pre-printed die-cut labels, place each container between the rollers, then start the cycle by hand button or footswitch. The pressure arm helps the label adhere as the container turns.

What changes from the AP360e

  • Apply one label or a front and back pair per cycle, with variable spacing.
  • Wind up the used backing liner on the built-in rewinder.
  • Start by button or footswitch; use the counter and saved job settings for repeat runs.

DTM quotes up to 1,500 containers per hour in suitable conditions. This is a manual-feed machine: the operator still places and removes each container.

Choose Setup

Choose the AP380e if separate front and back labels, liner handling or repeat job settings matter in your workflow. For one label per bottle and a simpler setup, the AP360e may be sufficient. Neither machine prints labels.

Check the complete application

Tell us the container diameter and length, its taper or unusual features, both label dimensions, the gap between front and back artwork on the roll, and the roll core/winding direction. Front and back labels must be supplied in a suitable sequence on compatible roll stock. The container surface and the stiffness of the label material can affect the finish; we can check a sample application with DTM if needed.

FAQs

Can I apply just one label?Yes. The AP380e can dispense one label or a front and back pair per cycle, depending on the setup and label roll.

Does it use two separate rolls for front and back? No. Check how the front and back labels are arranged on the compatible roll; send us the artwork and roll details if you want us to verify the setup.

What does the liner rewinder do?It winds the spent backing paper after the labels have been removed. It does not print or rewind finished labels from a printer.

Will it label a tapered or unusually shaped bottle? Many tapered containers can work, but label shape and material matter. Send us dimensions and photographs so we can check the application before you order.

Is the quoted speed my likely hourly output? The figure is DTM’s maximum under suitable conditions. Loading, removing and changing containers or rolls will affect your actual rate.
