Print white beneath or alongside colour on clear, dark and metallic label materials. The Pro1050 combines CMYK with a fifth white-toner channel for specialist premium labels.

It is aimed at medium and larger runs where ordinary process colour cannot create opacity or contrast on non-white substrates.

Overview

The Pro1050 is a five-colour LED dry-toner roll printer. White can be used as an underprint on clear or coloured stock, as part of the design, or to expand the usable substrate range. Rolls can be rewound or sheet-cut as part of a matched finishing workflow.

Choose Pro1050 only when white toner and specialist material capability justify the more complex production and consumables setup. The Pro1040 is CMYK only and is not included on this page.

Why does white toner matter?
It provides an opaque base or design colour on clear, dark and metallic stocks where CMYK alone would be translucent or hard to see.

Is this the Pro1040?
No. Pro1050 is the five-colour CMYK+white model; Pro1040 is a separate four-colour printer.

Can I use any label stock?
No. Heat, toner adhesion and transport requirements make substrate testing important.

Delivery & Returns

DTM normally dispatches from Germany to BatchPoint in London; the first leg is typically around 5–7 working days, subject to stock and customs clearance. We then arrange onward UK delivery. We will confirm the complete delivery estimate and charge before accepting the order. Please tell us about any production deadline.

Check media, software and workflow suitability with us before ordering. Business change-of-mind returns require written agreement; statutory rights are unaffected. If goods arrive damaged or incorrect, contact us promptly with photographs and retain the packaging. See our Returns and Cancellations policy.

Warranty & Support

DTM provides a 12-month standard warranty for qualifying UK purchases. Register the printer within 30 days of purchase for the free extension to 36 months, subject to DTM’s terms. Register with DTM.
