It is the compact entry point in DTM’s LX range for jars, bottles, cosmetics, gifts and product trials where designs change regularly.

Overview

The LX500ec is a desktop thermal-inkjet printer using one replaceable CMY cartridge with an integrated printhead. Its guillotine cutter separates the roll; it does not contour-cut individual custom shapes.

Choose Setup

Choose LX500ec for compact, lower-volume work within the 108 mm print-width limit. Step up to LX600e for greater width and speed, or LX610e when you need on-demand contour cutting.

FAQs

Does it cut custom label shapes?
No. The cutter separates the web. For integrated contour cutting, compare the LX610e.

Dye or pigment?
The available cartridge determines the ink type. Tell us the label material and use environment so we can confirm the current compatible option.

Are the labels waterproof?
Durability depends on ink, label stock and exposure. We recommend testing the exact material rather than relying on a blanket waterproof claim.

Delivery & Returns

DTM normally dispatches from Germany to BatchPoint in London; the first leg is typically around 5–7 working days, subject to stock and customs clearance. We then arrange onward UK delivery. We will confirm the complete delivery estimate and charge before accepting the order. Please tell us about any production deadline.

Check media, software and workflow suitability with us before ordering. Business change-of-mind returns require written agreement; statutory rights are unaffected. If goods arrive damaged or incorrect, contact us promptly with photographs and retain the packaging. See our Returns and Cancellations policy.

Warranty & Support

DTM provides a 12-month standard warranty for qualifying UK purchases. Register the printer within 30 days of purchase for the free extension to 36 months, subject to DTM’s terms. Register with DTM.
