It is built for tags, tickets, promotional media and point-of-sale work rather than serving as another LX inkjet model.

Overview

The CX86e uses one CMY toner cartridge and heat-fuses the image to compatible media. Ethernet is standard, WLAN is optional, and a presenter can be added for operator-facing output.

FAQs

Is this an inkjet printer?
No. It uses LED dry toner fused with heat.

Does it need coated inkjet media?
DTM states that its toner process works without specially coated inkjet stock, but the exact substrate still needs compatibility testing.

Can it print wide jar labels?
Its media width is limited to 86 mm. Compare the LX range for wider roll labels.

Delivery & Returns

DTM normally dispatches from Germany to BatchPoint in London; the first leg is typically around 5–7 working days, subject to stock and customs clearance. We then arrange onward UK delivery. We will confirm the complete delivery estimate and charge before accepting the order. Please tell us about any production deadline.

Check media, software and workflow suitability with us before ordering. Business change-of-mind returns require written agreement; statutory rights are unaffected. If goods arrive damaged or incorrect, contact us promptly with photographs and retain the packaging. See our Returns and Cancellations policy.

Warranty & Support

DTM provides a 12-month standard warranty for qualifying UK purchases. Register the printer within 30 days of purchase for the free extension to 36 months, subject to DTM’s terms. Register with DTM.
